After all the deep suffering, losses and pain Job endured God brings peace, healing, grace and restoration. What a beautiful picture of what God desires to bring into our lives through Jesus.

Because real thanksgiving isn’t just listing what you’re thankful for. It’s knowing Who you’re thankful to.

Unlike us, who struggle with our true identity as a child of God, Jesus didn’t need God to affirm who He was for Himself, it was for the benefit of those there. We need to hear it. We need to believe it. We need to walk in it.

Jesus uses this small, seemingly insignificant seed as a symbol for the Kingdom of God and the power it has to grow and spread in the most powerful, aggressive, invasive and disrupive way.

God wants us to “have a seasoned, resilient faith - to be a people who dance with God through miracles and bear with God through mystery.”

God has been always there. Waiting. Watching. For you…for me…to turn towards Him and start walking home.
He took the first step towards us and ran full out, like that guys on the Eagles going for a touchdown.
God sent Jesus to the Cross - to die for our sin - and raised Him from the dead - to silence Kezahzah forever in our lives.

Not dwelling on the past. That can be hard. That can be were we get stuck going around-and-around like on a Merry-Go-Round. We replay every word, every action until we are dizzy and don’t know which way is up and we can longer stand straight.

I know that’s the part I get stuck on.
I allow the opinions of others to stop me from stepping out.
I allow the fear of faling to abort even trying.
I allow my patterns and past dictate my current behavior.

My purpose - your purpose is being with and knowing God in such an intimate and personal way that the wonder of Who He is overshadows everything else.

Psalm 23:5 speaks of God's steadfast love and provision for us, even in the middle of trials and opposition, assuring us of His presence and care in every circumstance.

When we are still. When we release control and allow God to show us truth in a situation or correct a misconception.
By being still we trust.

David’s expectant, patient waiting leads to God’s moving on his behalf which brings David to praise God for what He has done for him!

What is it about starting new things that can have us shaking in our boots? The uncertainity of what it will look like? Will I be good at it?

He will equip us to face the battle or climb that cliff your hanging on by your fingertips.

If God loved us at our absolute worst, there is nothing that will change His love towards us now.

What if that thing you are crying out to God to make happen finally becomes a reality, how do you hold it?
Is it in a choke hold? Is it offered back to God, with you as it’s stewerd, to failthfully use for His glory for as long as it remains with you? Is it dependant on what it is? Because some things may be easier to hold loosely than others. Can we walk away from it because it has not become our identity or the only purpose we have in life?

Jesus asks us, “Did I not tell you that if you believed…”
What do you need to believe Him for? Where is there a loss or a fight you need Him to be with you?

He wouldn’t have gone through all He did to rescue and redeem me, if He was just going to walk away from me in the hard parts of life.

When you are so brokenhearted or drooping under the weight of our sin or somethings, where do you look? What grabs your attention? How do you deal with the burden and be able to function in life?

God will always lead us through our difficult and dry times to places where we will find rest and provision.
